International Summer Program 2025

The Unpad International Summer Program is a ten-day summer course program for international and Indonesian students to embark on a transformative learning experience in Jatinangor, West Java. This program combines academic excellence with cultural immersion, offering participants the opportunity to explore a variety of topics while experiencing Indonesia’s vibrant traditions, rich history, and natural beauty.

This year’s program will be conducted from August 4 -13, 2025, with the main location being in Jatinangor Campus, West Java, Indonesia. The main highlights of the program is that each faculty at Universitas Padjadjaran offers its own distinctive programs, with the focus on unique themes that highlight academic expertise and regional relevance. Every program provides a comprehensive and immersive learning experience.

Students may select three programs based on their interests. Based on their stated priorities and availability, they will be assigned to one program.

Participation Fee

International students from overseas universities: USD 450 (early bird: 400 USD, limited spots)
Non–Unpad students: 6.000.000 IDR (early bird: 5.500.000 IDR, limited spots)
Unpad students: FREE* (for course tuition)

This fee covers 10 days and 9 nights, including:

▪ Accommodation (shared room for two people)
▪ Local transportation (bus for excursion to Ciwidey/Lembang, bus for Bandung city tour, bus for pick up on selected hour from Soekarno Hatta International Airport to accommodation in Bandung)

Discount: Students from Unpad’s partner universities receive a 50% discount on tuition fees (USD 75).
Exclusions: International transportation, visa fees, health insurance, and personal expenses are not included.

Participation for Unpad Students: For students currently enrolled at Universitas Padjadjaran, course tuition is free. However, accommodation, meals, cultural activities and excursions are not included and must be covered individually.

This 10-day summer program (4-13 August 2025) offers an immersive exploration of how biodiversity, traditional farming, and cultural heritage are deeply intertwined. Hosted by the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Padjadjaran, Roots and Realms: Exploring Local Biodiversity and Cultural Heritage blends academic lectures, hands-on fieldwork, and creative expression to reveal the living connection between people and the land.

Participants will engage in expert-led discussions on sustainable agriculture, biodiversity, and traditional ecological knowledge. They will conduct field surveys, experience drone-based landscape mapping, and explore how farming traditions shape local identity.

Cultural visits to Kampung Naga and Desa Urug allow for community interaction through Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), games, and meaningful dialogue. A creative workshop, Echoes of Nature: Biodiversity in Myths, Songs, and Art, invites participants to express ecological stories through art, music, and storytelling.

The journey includes visits to Bandung City, Lembang, and Ciwidey—prime cultural destinations in West Java—before concluding with final presentations, assessments, and an awarding session.

Through this program, participants don’t just study the land—they learn from it.

Dyslexia Support for All: Strategies for Building an Inclusive Environment is a transformative 10-day summer program (4 August – 13 August 2025) hosted by Universitas Padjadjaran’s Faculty of Psychology (FAPSI). Designed for students, educators, therapists, caregivers, and individuals studying and working in inclusive contexts, this program blends cutting-edge research with hands-on practice to empower participants in supporting individuals with dyslexia. Highlights include expert-led sessions by psychologists and paediatricians, immersive visits to a special school and clinic (e.g., Yayasan Suryakanti), and empathy-building activities. Participants will gain practical skills in initial screening and strategies for supporting individuals with dyslexia as well as knowledge about assessment, intervention and inclusive teaching, while networking with global peers and professionals.
