[unpad.ac.id, 01/10/2020] Universitas Padjadjaran won an award from the West Java Province Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury as the best work unit based on the performance of the work unit budget execution for the second semester of 2019.

The award announcement was made in an online meeting by the Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury, Djoko Hendratto, Tuesday (29/09). At the meeting, Unpad was represented by the Director of Finance and Treasury Edi Jaenudin, M.Si., Ak.

Edi informed that every semester, the West Java Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury routinely gives appreciation to work units that meet the criteria in the administration process. There are quite a several criteria appointed.

These criteria include punctuality, minimum error, and fulfillment of some indicators which indicate that the administration of the work unit in the search process is carried out well.

“This is an award for all colleagues who have tried to do their best at work,” said Edi when interviewed in his office, Wednesday (30/09).

Edi said, one of the things that Unpad has done is to be consistent and orderly in administration. Unpad has consistently implemented the disbursement of salaries and allowances, both from the state budget (Anggaran Pendapatan Belanja Negara or APBN) and non-APBN funds.

The disbursement of salaries and allowances is according to every certain date, namely salary on the 1st, lecturer certification allowance on the 5th, meal allowance on the 10th, and performance allowance on the 15th of each month. This consistency has been carried out since the end of 2016.

To remain consistent, his party has collaborated with related agencies, such as KPPN (State Treasury Service Office) Bandung 1 and banks. In addition, several things must always be well prepared, namely documents and human resources.

“We make all the administration consistent. Alhamdulillah, the schedule, the administration, and the documents prepared are all in accordance with each other so that mistakes can be avoided,” said Edi.

In the future, Unpad strives to implement digital financial administration in every activity. Currently, Unpad has implemented an ERP-based (Enterprise Resource Planning) procurement, goods, capital, and services system. Furthermore, the ERP process will also be applied to the Human Capital Management (HCM) module.

“If we have completed the HCM module properly, the integration will be better,” said Edi.*
