King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST) Fellowship for Master’s and Doctoral Degrees

King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST) offers a master and doctoral program with a broad research area focusing on topics related to water, food, energy and the environment.

KAUST Fellowship is granted for all admitted students at this graduate university.

This Fellowship will cover:

  • Full Free Tuition Support
  • Monthly Living Allowance (From $20,000 to $30,000 annually, depending on qualifications and degree progress)
  • Housing
  • Medical and dental coverage
  • Relocation Support
Graduate admissions requirements include:

  • Official university transcripts

A scan of the official transcript provided by the university in the native language and the certified English translation.

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)

A summary of your job experience, research experience, and any other relevant information should also be submitted with your application.

  • Statement of purpose

750 words (approximately) concerning your past work, preparation for the intended field of study, relevant background and interests, academic plans, and career objectives.

  • Three letters of recommendation

Letters of recommendations should be written by professors or advisors under whom you have pursued research or taken courses in your major field of study.

  • Official TOEFL or IELTS Academic score

KAUST requires a minimum TOEFL score of 79 on the IBT (Internet Based Test) or 6.0 on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System). 

  • Official GRE scores (GRE submission is encouraged and will enhance an application, but it is not compulsory)
KAUST has 4 application deadlines per year (in KSA Time):

Round 1: October 1, 2020

Round 2: November 30, 2020

Round 3: January 15, 2021

Round 4: March 1, 2021
