Extended Maximum Period of Study in Unpad

[unpad.ac.id, 19/4/2020] Universitas Padjadjaran issued a special decree regarding the extension of the study period by one semester for students who have reached the end of their period of study and are supposed to graduate in the current semester but are unable to complete their studies on time due to certain obstacles. The decree also stipulates that students who meet the requirements can also be freed from the obligation to pay Tuition Fees (UKT) or Education Implementation Fees (BPP).

The policy was released in Rector Decree No. 367/UN6.RKT/KEP/HK/2020 regarding Teaching and Learning Activities during the Emergency Period of Public Health in Universitas Padjadjaran.

There are several conditions that need to be met. First, the student must be in their final year, and have included their final assignment, thesis, dissertation, or other form of final assignment in their study contract. Second, they must be experiencing obstacles in the work and completion of their final assignment. Thirdly, the student must have completed the guidance or advising process but have not had the chance to register for a defense in the current semester.

To be considered for this policy, the student must submit a letter requesting an extension of the maximum period of study to the Dean of their faculty. The Dean will then recommend the names of students who meet the requirements after academic verification.
