[unpad.ac.id, 27/06/2020] The Rector of Universitas Padjadjaran, Prof. Rina Indiastuti, has launched a COVID-19 surveillance and response system for lecturers, education staff, and Unpad students to ensure the health and safety of Unpad residents.
A COVID-19 e-learning system was developed to ensure the literacy level of the Unpad community. A certificate is awarded for successfully completing the course and is a prerequisite for those who plan to return to campus. Additionally, Amari Campus 2.0, a COVID-19 surveillance and monitoring system, was developed. Those who intend to enter the campus must fill out the application the day before. Results that predict a high risk will be followed up by a PCR test. This application is also used to support contact tracing efforts.
The Unpad Rector and Covid-19 Task Force team is also cooperating with the Department of Health and the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) to acquire adequate test kits.
For those involved in health service activities at the Unpad Dental and Mouth Hospital (RSGM), Unpad Clinic, BSL-3 Laboratory, and at the Unpad Main Education Hospital, a targeted swab was conducted in preparation for the reopening of specialist services and operating theaters on July 1, 2020. Preventative and sterilization actions using disinfectants were carried out in the RSGM environment to ensure this health care facility remains safe for the community.
