On the purpose of promoting the cordial relationship through our students\u2019 collaborative activities, Fukuoka\u00a0University has groped for the academic program to provide the students a chance to join our Asian network.\u00a0Now we would like to announce that Fukuoka University Center for Int\u2019l Programs proposes the International\u00a0Seminar in 2016, and seek the possibility to invite one (1) recommended student<\/strong> from partner universities in Asia with which\u00a0Fukuoka Univ. has established sister-university relationships.<\/p>\n

This seminar focuses on group study in specific\u00a0fields, discussion and presentation in collaboration with (more interactive studying with) Fukuoka Univ. students,\u00a0that turns to be most productive for both of guest and host students. This program also includes the segment for\u00a0experiencing and learning various aspects of Japan and its culture, nature and tradition through such events as\u00a0field trips and lectures. Fukuoka University will award the grants on your student\u2019s participating in this program.<\/p>\n

Eligibility:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Students who are registered as regular students in undergraduate courses at Fukuoka Univ.\u2019s sister\u00a0universities in China, Taiwan, Korea, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia and\u00a0who have NEVER been to Japan in the past<\/strong>. (We\u2019d like to give an opportunity to those who have\u00a0desired to come to learn Japan, but never had a chance.)<\/li>\n
  2. The student is required to have Japanese language proficiency (higher than basic level),\u00a0since group study, discussion and presentation are conducted in Japanese in principle.<\/strong>\u00a0Also it is desirable that he\/she has the English proficiency.<\/li>\n
  3. The number of participants invited:\u00a01 student respectively recommended<\/strong> by the sister university.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Period of Seminar:<\/p>\n

    11 days for the period from October 25 (arriving in Fukuoka) to November 5, 2016 (departing to\u00a0home countries).<\/p>\n
