<\/a>[unpad.ac.id, 7\/10\/2020] Universitas Padjadjaran has an exclusive room that was developed with PT. Pegadaian (Persero). The room called “The Gade Creative Lounge” was developed as a facility to support the academic activities of Unpad students.<\/span><\/p>\n The corner “The Gade Creative Lounge” which is located inside the Grha Kandaga Building, Unpad Central Library, Jatinangor, was symbolically inaugurated by the Unpad Rector, Prof. Rina Indiastuti, together with the Director of Network, Operations, and Sales of PT. Pegadaian, Damar Latri Setiawan, Wednesday (7\/10) afternoon.<\/span><\/p>\n In his speech, Damar said that the development of “The Gade Creative Lounge” at Unpad has the purpose to bring Pegadaian closer to the millennial generation. This is a transformation effort carried out by BUMN in the financial sector.<\/span><\/p>\n “Pegadaian knows that the younger generation will play an important role in the future of Indonesia,” said Damar.<\/span><\/p>\n This corner is expected to produce a variety of creativity from Unpad students. Therefore, he invited this room to be used by students for meetings, discussions, or even just relaxation. This is possible because the room is also equipped with various entertainment devices.<\/span><\/p>\n Through this corner, Pegadaian will also develop several programs to stimulate the creativity of Unpad students.<\/span><\/p>\n Meanwhile, the Rector of Unpad appreciated the development of “The Gade Creative Lounge” from Pegadaian’s full facilitation. This millennial-friendly room is one of the embodiments reflecting our future campus.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cApparently, a place of knowledge that can be accessed both conventionally and digitally is relevant for our future campus,” said the Rector.<\/span><\/p>\n The Rector encouraged that this corner should also provide facilities promoting information regarding Pegadaian and other financial sectors that can be accessed by students. Therefore, this corner can further enrich the students’ knowledge.<\/span><\/p>\n The inauguration ceremony was attended by several leaders within Unpad. One of them was a Professor of Unpad\u2019s Faculty of Economics and Business who was also a former Independent Commissioner of PT. Pegadaian, Prof.Dr. Ina Primiana.<\/span><\/p>\n After the inauguration, the event was continued with a virtual talk show “Indonesia Millennials Financial Summit” which presented the keynote speaker, the Deputy Commissioner of Education and Consumer Protection of the Financial Services Authority, Sardjito, and other worthy speakers such as the President Director of PT. Pegadaian, Kuswiyoto, and the Rector of Unpad. *<\/span><\/p>\n
