<\/a>[unpad.ac.id, 13\/10\/2020] As many as 230 educational staff and leaders of Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) underwent a swab test held at the basketball court of Unpad Bale Santika, Jatinangor, on Tuesday (13\/10).<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Unpad Director of Human Resources, Aulia Iskandarsyah, M.Psi., Ph.D., said that holding a swab test was Unpad’s effort in mitigating the spread of COVID-19 as much as possible.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cThis is also Unpad’s commitment to always implement the COVID-19 health protocols,\u201d said Aulia.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The swab test itself was carried out by the Unpad Covid-19 Task Force. Later, all samples will be tested for PCR at the Central Lab in the Unpad campus. \u201cWe try [to finish it] in a maximum of 2 days,\u201d added Aulia.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The participants who took the test were selected using a stratified random sampling method from all work units in Unpad. Thus, participants chosen were a representation of each work unit drawn based on their proportions.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Furthermore, Aulia explained that the proportion was carried out based on the number of staff recorded in the work unit. A work unit with a huge amount of staff will also receive a large proportion of participants too.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cWe [the Directorate of Human Resources] have submitted all departments along with the Secretary of the Directorate, the Head of the Office, and the Head of the Center. However, the Task Force is using stratified random sampling that allows around 10% of the total number of Unpad staff to be tested,\u201d he explained.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Aulia ensured that Unpad would continue to periodically test the entire community. Hopefully, this test could increase the awareness of Unpad employees to apply health protocols around the work environment.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cUnpad will continue to prioritize health surveillance services even though we are experiencing a new level of activities,\u201d said Aulia.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n She also encouraged all Unpad residents to keep following the health protocols, such as wearing masks, washing hands, and maintaining distance.*<\/span><\/p>\n
