[unpad.ac.id, 2\/9\/2020] Ten students of Universitas Padjadjaran have been awarded the <\/span>Tahfidz <\/span><\/i>Student Scholarship which is a collaboration between Unpad with Inisiatif Zakat Indonesia<\/span> (<\/span><\/i>IZI<\/span>) <\/span><\/i>and PT. Bank Permata Syariah. This program has been symbolically inaugurated by the Secretary of the Directorate of<\/span> Student Affairs and Alumni, Drs. Sudarma, MM., online, on Wednesday (2\/9).<\/span><\/p>\n

Sudarma said that the <\/span>Tahfidz <\/span><\/i>Student Scholarship Program is one of the facilities in upholding Unpad\u2019s commitment to give the best service to students.<\/span><\/p>\n

Unpad has a commitment to remove any financial burden that could hinder the students\u2019 learning process. Other than improving welfare, this empowerment program is also expected to develop achievements of awardees of the scholarship.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHow can we maintain the achievements of these students and improve them, one way is by improving their welfare from many angles, such as through scholarships,\u201d said Sudarma.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sudarma also hoped that by improving the students\u2019 welfare and achievements, this program can improve the quality of human resources as a whole.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis has always been our priority to improve and develop our human resources as a whole,\u201d said Sudarma.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Director of Pendayaan Inisiatif Zakat Indonesia<\/span>, <\/span><\/i>Nana Sudiana, hoped that this program could improve the intellectual and spiritual value of the awardees. In addition to intelligence, it is hoped that students can internalize good morals. The wisdom of leadership can also be internalized.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBecause we hope that they can be leaders in the future, become a part of Indonesia\u2019s future,\u201d Nana said.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this opportunity, Vice Head of the Zakat Collecting Unit<\/span> of PT. Bank Permata Syariah, Feddy Fadillah, explained that this program does not only provide scholarship but also provides tutoring and other facilities.
