This activity raised the theme &#8220;Think\nGlobally, Act Locally&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The head of the event Eka Susanto, S. ST. Par,\nexplained that Unpad Tourism Day later would become a forum for tourism,\nespecially tourism academics in Bandung Raya to improve their network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe also encourage every university in Bandung\nRaya that have tourism study program to actively participate in tourism\ndevelopment, at least in the closest area to us, like the initial concept that\nis Think Globally, Act Locally,\u201d said Eka in a release received by the Office\nof Public Communications Unpad<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eka further revealed that this event became a\nsymbolic form of Unpad in celebrating World Tourism Day on September 27th.\nBesides the talk show, a number of competitions were conducted in the event,\nsuch as tourism photography, tourism video, and also tourism branding poster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis activity will be an annual event that\nwill be held by Unpad Sustainable Tourism Magister Program as a form that Unpad is also\ncommitted to contributing to the development of tourism industry in Indonesia,\ncertainly with the paradigm of sustainable development,\u201d said the Chairperson\nof Unpad Sustainable Tourism Magister Program Unpad Dr. Evi Novianti, M. Si.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main speakers in the first session were:\nDr. Ir. Yun Yunus Kusumahbrata, M. Sc (Geopark Acceleration Team, Ministry of\nTourism Indonesia) and Prof. Dr. Dadang Suganda, M.
