To support this synergy, Unpad held a “Public\nInformation Openness Workshop” at Bale Rucita Unpad Rectorate Building,\nJatinangor, Wednesday (18\/9).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop was attended by the Directorate\nSecretary, the Head of the Archive Office, the Representative of the Manager,\nthe Directorate and Unit Representative, the Faculty Manager, as well as the\nFaculty information officer at Universitas Padjadjaran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Director of Governance and Public Communication of\nUniversitas Padjadjaran, Aulia Iskandarsyah, M.Psi., M.Sc., PhD., said that\nthis event was held to raise awareness about the management of public\ninformation to units of work within Unpad. \nThey are expected to be able to provide and deliver all information and\ndocumentation to PPID Unpad well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The\ncollective awareness that the availability of information and also\ndocumentation is obligatory,” said Aulia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PPID is a\nprogram that is based on the legislative mandate. There are legal consequences that apply if\nthe public agency does not provide information to the public properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aulia explained that Unpad\u2019s commitment regarding PPID\nconsists of the PPID’s vision, mission, and motto. The vision is the embodiment of public\ninformation services in Unpad that are professional, accountable, simple,\ntransparent, and informative to fulfill the rights of applicants for public\ninformation in accordance with legislative rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On this\noccasion, Aulia also conveyed the proposed Exempt Information List. Work units that were present were asked to\ngive their opinions regarding this matter, the opinions can be included in the\nregulatory provisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition,\nAulia said PPID has an obligation to improve competence and quality. Improving the quality of human resources\nabout public information disclosure has been done through dissemination. *<\/p>\n\n\n\n
