The awards were given to the winners at the Sports and\nArts Week (Porseni) which had been held as part of Unpad\u2019s 62nd Dies\nNatalis. It was held from 26 August to 9\nSeptember 2019 at the Unpad Jatinangor campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his welcoming statement, Chairman of the Unpad 62nd\nDies Natalis Committee, Prof. Muchtaridi\nemphasized that the implementation of this event is not to prioritize titles,\nbut instead, it is to pursue togetherness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“This event is the result of cooperation,\ncohesiveness and togetherness from the academic community of Universitas\nPadjadjaran, alumni, and Unpad partners,” said Prof. Muchtaridi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the arts category, awards were given to the winners\nof “Unpad Idol” in the categories of solo singing, vocal groups, and\nbands. For the solo category, Adhein from the Faculty of Medicine won 1st<\/sup>\nplace, Ameira Baradja from the Faculty of Cultural Sciences 2nd<\/sup>\nplace, and Dea Clara Nadya from the Faculty of Nursing won 3rd<\/sup> place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For the Vocal Group category, the winners were from\nthe Faculty of Economics and Business (1st place), Faculty of Medicine (2nd<\/sup>\nplace), and Faculty of Law (3rd<\/sup> place). While for the band category,\nthe winners were from the Faculty of Law (1st<\/sup> place), Faculty of\nMedicine (2nd<\/sup> place), and the Faculty of Economics and Business (3rd<\/sup>\nplace).<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition, awards were also given to a number of\nwinners in the sport department, which includes Volleyball, Table Tennis,\nBadminton and Football. The Faculty of Medicine was announced as the General\nChampion of this year\u2019s Porseni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the event, Unpad also symbolically gave awards to\noutstanding the lecturers and educational staff of Unpad. The awards included\nOutstanding Lecturers in Science and Technology Field, Outstanding Lecturers in\nSocio-Humanities Field, Outstanding Teaching Laboratory Technicians,\nOutstanding Librarians, Outstanding Financial Managers, Outstanding Academic\nAdministrators, and Outstanding Archivists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Symbolically, awards were also given to the winners of\nSatya Karya Bhakti Pendidikan, Satya Karya Bhakti Class I, Satya Karya Bhakti\nClass II, and Satya Karya Purnabhakti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On this occasion, appreciation was also given to the Public\nRelations Manager of Faculty Websites. Furthermore, awards were given to the\nFaculty of Economics and Business as the first-best, the Faculty of Social and\nPolitical Sciences as the second-best, and the Faculty of Industrial\nAgriculture Technology as the third-best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition, various activities were carried out at\nthe Appreciation Night such as the symbolic giving of Unpad Smart Cards as well\nas a number of entertainment performances from the Unpad extended family and\nguest stars. The event was also enlivened by the performance of KSP Big Band and\nDiskoria, as well as the host Joe P Project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Appreciation Night was officially opened by the Acting Unpad Rector Prof.\u00a0 Dr.\u00a0 Rina Indiastuti, S.E., M.SIE. Just like Prof. Muchtaridi, Prof.\u00a0 Rina also said that the Unpad Dies Natalis event is meant to uphold togetherness, synergy, sharing, and friendship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Happy birthday to our beloved Universitas\nPadjadjaran. We pray that going forward we will be more advanced, happier and\nmore prosperous,” said Prof. Rina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This year, the theme of the Unpad Dies Natalis activity\nseries was “Unpad on the World Stage”.
