[unpad.ac.id, 2\/9\/2019] Universitas Padjadjaran won two silver at the 32nd<\/sup> National Student Science Week (Pimnas) at Universitas Udayana Bali. The closing of the event was held at Art Center, Denpasar, Bali, Friday (30\/8).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Try Hutomo, Intan Farwati, and Rosaldi Pratama\nwon silver for their presentation of scientific papers for the Program\nKreativitas Mahasiswa Penelitian Eksata (PKM PE) titled \u201cPendingin Gelembung Nano untuk Mengatasi Kegagalan Sistem\nPendingin Aktif Reaktor Nuklir<\/a>\u201d. Their advisor\nwas Dr. Cukup Mulyana from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, another silver was won by Luthfi\nUtami, Setyawati, Risda Rahmi Islamiaty, and Kevin Reinhard Lie for their PKM\nPE poster titled \u201cValidasi Metode Pemisahan\nTeknesium-99m-Alfa mangostin dan Iodium-131-Alfa mangostin sebagai Pendeteksi\nKanker Payudara Baru menggunakan HPLC Gamma-Counter<\/a>\u201d. These students were advised by Prof.\nMuchtardi from the Unpad Faculty of Pharmacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Found in his office, Director of Academic and\nStudent Affairs Prof. Dr. Wawan Hermawan, M.S. said that the Unpad team has\nshown their best performance at Pimnas this time. Unpad has done a lot of\npreparation, starting from the selection until the stabilization of the\nparticipants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are grateful for the two silver won by\nthis year\u2019s Unpad Team. It is a very proud achievement,\u201d said Prof. Wawan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, four teams qualified for Pimnas.\nThree of them were Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa Penelitian Eksata (PKM PE)\nteams and one was a Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa Kewirausahaan (PKMK) team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Wawan said that to go to next year\u2019s\nPimnas, Unpad will have an evaluation process to improve the preparation\nprocess. It is hoped that Unpad\u2019s achievements at next year\u2019s Pimnas will be even\nbetter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Wawan also invited the\ninvolvement of all parties, starting from the study program level, to prepare the best student creativity programs together. The involvement of professors in\nadvising students is also hoped to be increased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe preparation for the next Pimnas\nstarts from now. Hopefully, we can be better, and Unpad can at least make the top ten as Unpad has\nachieved before,\u201d said\nProf. Wawan.*<\/p>\n\n\n\n
