The event IID 2019 is held in order to introduce various\nproduct and technology innovation made by Indonesians to other countries. These\nproducts are the results from research products and are ready to be marketed.\nThis year, IID is followed by 20 Innovation Centers (PUI) and 6 State\nUniversity Science and Technology areas (KST PTN) in Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 6 KST PTN that took part in the event were KST Unpad,\nKST Maritim Universitas Diponegoro, Center of Maritime Safety and Marine\nInstallation Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November, Science, Technology, and\nBusiness Incubator Institut Pertanian Bogor, Technopark Institut Teknollgi\nBandung, and KST Universitas Gadjah Mada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Universitas Padjadjaran Vice Rector for Research, Public\nService, Partnership, and Academic Corporation Dr. Keri Lestari, S.Si., M.Si.,\nApt. said, \u201cTehdia\u201d was chosen because it\u2019s a leading product from KST Unpad\nwho already has partners in the industry sector and already has permit of\ndistribution from the Indonesian FDA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In short, \u201cTehdia\u201d is an innovation in tea products that is\nnaturally sweet, a combination between black tea leaves and stevia leaves.\nTehdia is the first product containing stevia leaves to get a distribution\npermit from the Indonesian FDA. Until now, there has been no other product\ncontaining stevia leaves to get a permit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe development of \u2018Tehdia\u2019 also uses the\nSociotechnopreneur model. This concept puts forward the locals\u2019 social\ncondition to get an appropriate technology and direct the public to get\ninvolved in the entrepreneurship of this product,\u201d said Dr. Keri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Based on research by Unpad Faculty of Pharmacy, \u201cTehdia\u201d can\ncontrol blood glucose levels, so it\u2019s safe and good for people with diabetes or\nfor those who want to take precautions against diabetes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because of that, \u201cTehdia\u201d is the only Unpad product\ndisplayed in IID 2019. In this event, Unpad sends Dr. keri Lestari and Head of\nBusiness Incubation Center\/Oorange Unpad Diana Sari, PhD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Diana added, some visitors gave special interest in\n\u201cTehdia\u201d. \u201cThe response from visitors is good because this is a functional tea\nfor diabetes, it\u2019s a solution to diabetes,\u201d said Diana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Other than forming partnership with Sister STP, Unpad also\nsigned a Letter of Intent for partnership with three firms, PT. Winros Sukses\nIndonesia, Oscar GmbH Handel Vertrieb Service, and Ospedalia AG, Switzerland,\nto market the products from Unpad according to European standards and needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
