\u201c[From what] we see, Maluku has a very big potential for us\nto develop,\u201d said Universitas Padjadjaran Vice Rector for Research, Public\nService, Partnership, and Academic Corporation Dr. Keri Lestari, S.Si., M.Si.,\nApt. when opening the National Seminar on Archipelagic Regional Development\n\u201cThe Success Strategy in Developing Archipelagic Areas\u201d held by the Unpad\nMaluku Corner Center of Excellence, at Bale Rucita, Unpad Rectorate Building\nJatinangor Campus, Tuesday (2\/7).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In an attempt to elevate the wellbeing of Maluku, Dr. Keri said\nthat a partnership needs to be done through various technology and the correct\nsocial approach for the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo the concept for our entrance to Maluku, the concept is\nregional development. Not only education development, but more towards regional\ndevelopment,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Dr. Keri, it must be avoided for a region to\ndevelop but its public stuck being an audience. For that, we need to apply the\nsociotechnopreneur concept. Through the concept, the technology developed must\nbe something the locals can follow and with immediate benefit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo this sociotechnopreneur concept is what we will try to\ndevelop in Maluku,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, Dr. keri hope that Unpad will be able to be a\ngrowth hub, especially for the people of Maluku. Through the seminar, she hopes\nto create various concept that can really be implemented for the Maluku people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLet us discuss. Let us talk about the potential we can\ndevelop together as we synergize for the wellbeing of Maluku,\u201d said Dr. Keri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, Head of Research and Development from the Maluku\nGovernment Dr. Djalaludin Salampessy said that his party is very open to\npartnerships in developing Maluku.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Told by Dr. Djalaludin, Maluku has a number of potential for\npartnerships, such as plantation, fisheries, tourism, and mining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also emphasized that Maluku is a safe and peaceful\nregion. The people of Maluku are very friendly and accept everyone who would\nlike to visit Maluku well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI guarantee that Maluku is very safe. You don\u2019t need to\nhesitate to go Maluku. The people of Maluku are very welcoming, very open, very\nappreciative, and very friendly. They have the spirit to make friends. They\nhave friendship values that are honored,\u201d told Dr. Djalaludin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Other than Dr. Djalaludin, the seminar also invited the\nDirector of Eropa III, Directorate General of the United States and Europe,\nIndonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Drs. Ardian Wicaksono, MS., Head of\nCooperation BNPP R. Barlianto Nababan, as well as International Law Lecturer\nfrom Unpad Faculty of Law, R.A. Gusman Catur Siswandi., SH., LL.N., PH.D. This\nevent was moderated by the Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries and Ocean Science\nDr. sc. Agr Yudi Nurul Ihsan, S.Pi., M.Si.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After an explanation from the speakers, 30 articles are also\npresented from various sciences about the development of archipelagos in\nIndonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis is a form of idea contribution in national\ndevelopment, especially in developing archipelagic regions,\u201d said the Head of\nCommittee of the event, Dr. Maret Priyanta, SH., MH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
