AIFM when opening the workshop \u201cUniversities\u2019 Role in\nStunting Prevention in Indonesia\u201d at the Unpad Multipurpose Room, Building 2 4th<\/sup>\nfloor, Dipati Ukur street No. 35, Bandung, Monday (24\/6).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Furthermore, Dr. Setiawan told that this year Unpad has\nbecome the university appointed by the Indonesian Ministry of Health to do\nsupervision in stunting prevention in Cirebon regency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile, Dr. Dewi Marhaeni Diah Herawati, drg., M.Si from\nUnpad Faculty of Medicine as the person in charge of the program told that\nthere must be a mutual concern from all parties involved in the stunting\nproblem as well as nutrition problems in general, including coordination and\nquality of human resources problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Regarding that problem, universities can help solving the\nproblem through planning, acting, monitoring, and evaluating the stunting\nprevention programs by the government, especially in regency level. In 2019,\nthe Indonesian Ministry of Health Directorate of Nutrition form a partnership\nwith 17 universities in Indonesia to accompany the regency-level government in\nmanaging the stunting prevention programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Head of the activity Dr. Fathurachman,dr., Sp.OT, M.Kes told\nthat the workshop is conducted with the intention to build a mutual understanding\nabout nutrition problems; the government\u2019s role and the university\u2019s role in\nsupervision. In this activity, signing of a mutual commitment was done by all\ndeans in Unpad as well as present participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The event started with a workshop and explanations from\nvarious speakers continued by intensive discussion between the Unpad Stunting\nStudy Form with the speakers and representative from the Presidential staff\noffice Dr. Brian Sri Prahastuti, dr., M.kes and TNP2K Ekki Syamsulhakim,\nMAppEc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The panel discussion led by Dr. Deni K. Sunjaya, dr., DESS,\nwho is also the head of the Unpad Faculty of Medicine Magister of Public Health\nSciences program. He said that the importance of forming a mutual perception is\nto answer the biggest challenge of all, doing this multi-sector program\neffectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In this opportunity, the mutual perception in university\nabout prevention and deterrent of stunting was brought out by the speaker from\nthe Indonesian Ministry of Health told by Hj. Eni Gustina, dr., MPH as\nSesditjen Kesemas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Other than that, speakers presented were Prof. Endang L.\nAchadi, dr. M.PH, Dr. PH and Dini Latief, dr.,M.Sc, SpGK from the Indonesian\nNutrition Institution as well as Dean of Unpad Faculty of Medicine Dr. med.
