In this regard, on Friday (21\/6) a discussion was held on\nthe Concept, Model and Assessment of Thematic KKN on Entrepreneurship and\nCitarum Harum with speaker Dr. Ir. Paristiyanti Nurwardani, M.P., the Director\nof Learning from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education in\nthe Executive Lounge room of Building 2 Unpad Jl. Dipati Ukur No. 35 Bandung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was hosted by the Unpad Vice Rector for Academic\nand Student Affairs, Dr. Arry Bainus, M.A., and were also attended by the\nActing Rector of Universitas Padjadjaran Prof. Dr. Rina Indiastuti, S.E.,\nM.SIE, representatives from the Academic Senate, Unpad Vice Rector for\nGovernance and Resources Prof. Arief Sjamsulaksan Kartasasmita, dr., SpM (K),\nM.Kes., PhD, Deans and Vice Deans of the Faculties\/Postgraduate Schools, the\nDirector of Planning and Information Systems, and Secretary of the Director of Academic\nand Student Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On this occasion, Dr. Paristiyanti explained the concept of\nCommunity Service which is contained in the Ministerial Decree draft. She also\nexplained that currently there are various KKN models; regular, thematic, and\ninternational.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In connection with the Citarum Harum Thematic KKN, Dr.\nParistiyanti recalled the commitment of universities to contribute to\naddressing various issues surrounding Citarum. It is known that the Citarum\nRiver has provided many benefits for the community, especially in the West Java\nto DKI Jakarta area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe all know that the Citarum River has various problems.\nFor that we have to roll up our sleeves together to overcome the problem,\u201d she\nsaid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through this thematic KKN, it is hoped that not only can the\nCitarum problem be solved, but that it can function as a learning tool for both\nhard skills and soft skills for students. The learning of soft skills here is\nexpected to provide students with skills for the future that will be useful,\nespecially in the world of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFor that, we are waiting for ideas from Unpad both in the\nform of mentoring, teaching and solving problems in Citarum,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For information, the Citarum Harum Thematic KKN was first\nannounced on May 3, 2018 and in commemoration of National Education Day at the\nUnpad Campus in Bandung. The implementation of the thematic KKN was not only\ncarried out by Unpad, but also involved other universities, including IPB, UI,\nITB, and UPI. The implementation of the Thematic KKN Program also involved USAID,\nAmerica and the West Java regional government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to discussing the Citarum Harum Thematic KKN, the\nEntrepreneurship KKN was also discussed by Dr. Dwi Purnomo, STP., MT. In his\nexplanation, this time, the Entrepreneurship KKN will serve as a pilot project at\nUnpad involving lecturers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, the Faculty\nof Social and Political Sciences, and the Faculty of Agricultural Industrial\nTechnology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This program will integrate the Unpad cooperation program\nwith the Sumedang District Government with the implementation of this Community\nService Program in 5 Districts in the Sumedang Regency area, consisting of 53\nvillages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe output target that we aim to achieve in the first year\nof the Entrepreneurship KKN is the completion of 40 business websites in each\nvillage, with at least 40 products sold in [online] marketplaces such as\nTokopedia and Bukalapak, the formation of entrepreneur forums in each sub-district,\nand updated economic potential data of 40 villages,\u201d Dwi said. *<\/p>\n\n\n\n
