There was a total of three selected\ncandidates for the Unpad Board of Trustees Recall Election, namely Sapta\nNirwandar, S.E., DEA., and Prof. Dr. Moermahadi Djanegara, CA., CPA. as elected\ncandidates selected from the community, and Ahmad Baehaqi, M.T., as a candidate\nselected from education staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The selection of the candidates was\nbased on the results of the Unpad Academic Senate plenary meeting that was held\non Wednesday (12\/6) for candidates from education staff, and Thursday (6\/13)\nfor candidates from the community. In the plenary meeting, as many as 4\nprospective members from the education staff and 11 out of 12 prospective\nmembers from the community expressed their ideas about the development of Unpad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For prospective members from the\ncommunity, one candidate confirmed that they were unable to attend to present\nideas due to certain circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Each candidate is given the\nopportunity to convey their ideas about the development of Unpad. They are led\nby a moderator and allocated 15 minutes of presentation and 10 minutes of\ndiscussion,” said head of the Ad hoc Committee Dr. Soni A. Nulhaqim,\nM.Sc., in his official statement to the Office of Public Communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Soni explained that the\nassessment process was based on scores given by each member of the Unpad\nAcademic Senate to each prospective member of the Unpad Board of Trustees\nRecall Election. Scores are given based on a number of established criteria,\nnamely: having good integrity and reputation, commitment to Unpad development,\nhaving extensive networking, organizational competence and leadership,\ncommunication skills (communicative), and having visionary thinking. Each\ncriterion item is scored with the highest score of 10 and the lowest score of\n1. Technical assessment is done using a digital form or print assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, the score given by\neach Academic Senate member is used as the basis for determining the selected Unpad\nBoard of Trustees Recall Election members by calculating the total score of all\nthe criteria items assessed for each prospective member, from each Academic\nSenate member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The total score is then the basis\nfor calculating the rank of prospective Board of Trustees members, calculated\nwith the following stages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The\ntotal score of each criteria item for each Board of Trustees candidate by each\nAcademic Senate member is recapitulated and sorted accordingly to find the highest\nvalue out of all the prospective members by each member of the academic senate\nrespectively;<\/li>
  2. The\ncandidate who receives the highest score from each Academic Senate member\nobtained in point (a) becomes the final choice (vote) as a prospective Board of\nTrustees candidate for each member of the SA; and<\/li>
  3. The\nBoard of Trustees candidate chosen from education staff members is the\ncandidate who has the highest number of votes, while the Board of Trustees\ncandidates chosen from members of the community are the two candidates who have\nthe most and second most votes.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Dr. Sapta Nirwandar is a retiree\nfrom the State Civil Apparatus. He once served as Honorary Advisor to the\nMinister of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia (2015 – 2017) and the Deputy\nMinister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia (2011 –\n2014).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Moermahadi Soerja\nDjanegara, CA., CPA currently serves as Chair of the Audit Board of the\nRepublic of Indonesia since 2017. Previously, Prof. Moermahadi served as Member\nV of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (2014-2017).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ahmad Baehaqi, M.T., currently serves as Secretary of the Directorate of the Unpad Academic and Library Resources since 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Community Complaint Handling Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Dr. Soni conveyed that his committee\naccepts reports\/public complaints regarding the process of candidate selection for\nUnpad Board of Trustees Recall Election Members. The handling of the reports starts\nwith the reporter sending a written report<\/strong> to the Committee via email\ncontaining the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • The identity of the Reporting Entity that includes\ntheir full name, address, and occupation with a photocopy of their Resident\nIdentity Card (KTP);<\/li>
    • Identity of Reported Party;<\/li>
    • Reported objects such as circumstances, actions,\nevents as a basis\/reason for complaints\/ reports;<\/li>
    • Attach proof of the reported object(s).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Submission of complaints\/reports\nand further information can be sent via email to sekretaris.senat@unpad.ac.id\nno later than June 28, 2019 in accordance with working hours. *<\/p>\n\n\n\n
