The activity was a student meeting on a global level, with\nthe aim of forming a tolerant and open global society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cISWI opens itself as a conducive and effective place to\ndiscuss various global issues from a local perspective, namely the cultural\npoint of view of each participant, and find solutions together. The exchange of\ninformation and culture has become a healthy menu for ISWI participants,\u201d\nAyesha said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the theme \u201cTradition and Transition,\u201d ISWI held a\nvariety of activities, starting from a world culinary festival, panel\ndiscussions, to several self-development workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ayesha explained that there were two panel discussions held.\nThe first discussion discussed about \u201cIntegration and Participation of Refugees\nand Migrants\u201d with speakers from the Uganda Red Cross Society and Migration Hub\nNetwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second discussion covered &#8220;Environmental\nConservation in a Globalized World&#8221; with speakers from the Sri Lanka Youth\nClimate Action Network (SLYCAN) and University Vienna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ayesha herself participated in the discussion group on\nenvironmental conservation. This discussion discussed a number of environmental\nissues currently occurring in the world. In the discussion, Ayesha tried to\nexpress the solution to environmental problems through an anthropological\nperspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the world culinary festival, Ayesha and other Indonesian\ndelegates served a variety of traditional Indonesian culinary delights, such as\ndodol, kue gapit, rendang, jinten manis, serundeng, amplang, and abon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not to be left behind, the delegates also donned kebaya and\nbatik clothing as Indonesian fashion symbols.
