The cooperation was\nmarked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by the Vice Chancellor\nfor Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Unpad Academic Corporations,\nDr. Keri Lestari, M.Sc., Apt., with the President Director of PT. PLN GG, Moh.\nRiza Affiandi in Unpad Executive Lounge room, Dipati Ukur 35 Bandung, Friday\n(31\/5).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Regarding this\ncooperation, Riza explained, his party cooperated with Unpad in supporting the\nimplementation of a number of strategic projects carried out by subsidiaries of\nPT. The PLN. More than 50 strategic projects related to gas and geothermal are\nbeing carried out by PT. PLN GG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“In carrying\nout these projects, we have problems related to the environment, environmental\nimpact analysis, environmental feasibility, and other issues in terms of\nregulation, and social aspects,” said Riza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Therefore, he plans\nto collaborate with a number of universities in Indonesia. As for Unpad, his\nteam plans to build a study on environmental impact analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“So far Unpad\nhas been leading in environmental impact studies. Various projects of PLN\nenvironmental impact studies are held by Unpad,” said Riza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, Dr. Keri\nwelcomes the cooperation that will be carried out with PT. PLN GG. It is hoped\nthat this collaboration will not focus only on just one scientific discipline.\nHence, it is encouraged for this collaboration to be carried by the Graduate\nSchool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to\ncooperation with the AMDAL study, Dr. Keri also hopes that this cooperation can\nbe extended into other sectors, such as the offer to continue their studies. It\nwill open the opportunity for leaders and employees of PT. PLN GG to continue\ntheir studies at Unpad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The signing of the\nMemorandum of Understanding was attended by the Dean of the Graduate School,\nProf. Dr. Ir. Hendarmawan, M.Sc., a number of leaders of the Graduate School,\nas well as a number of lecturers in Unpad. *<\/p>\n\n\n\n
