The handover of the\nlaptop was held at the Unpad Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Industrial\nTechnology, Tuesday (5\/21). A total of 8 laptop units worth Rp 30 million were\ngiven by six new Unpad graduates representing start-up businesses. This laptop\nis given to 8 students in Unpad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dean of FTIP Unpad,\nDr. Edy Suryadi, Ir., M.T., appreciated this “Laptop for Friends”\nprogram. “Laptop is a very important tool for students because it is one\nof the drivers of enthusiasm for learning,” said Dr. Edy in the release\nreceived by the Unpad Public Communication Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The initiator of\nthe “Laptop for Friends” program which is also Deputy Dean of FTIP\nUnpad, Dr. Dwi Purnomo said, this program is an opportunity for novice business\npeople in Unpad to build social care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He explained, this\nlaptop grant can be a provision for acceleration for students who have economic\nlimitations so that they can help the learning process better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Furthermore,\nit is expected to inspire students to have greater capacity through\nentrepreneurial institutions,” said Dr. Dwi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These beneficiaries\nare students who are economically limited to being able to buy a laptop. The\nrecipient criteria themselves have been determined by the faculties, FTEM BEM,\nand donors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Interestingly,\ndonors had also felt limited to buying a laptop previously when they were still\nstudying at Unpad. “The idea is so that it can accompany all the lectures\nand accelerate them, so a laptop will be a good friend for a minimum of four\nyears of college,” concluded Dr. Dwi.*<\/p>\n\n\n\n
