Great ideas are in campus,\u201d spoke the Head of the West Java\nGovernment Tourism Office, Dedi Taufik in tourism human resources basic\ntraining in Grha Sanusi Harjadinata Unpad, Dipati Ukur street No. 35, Bandung,\nMonday (20\/5).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In developing tourism, Dedi hopes there will be a synergy\nwith various parties. Synergy with universities can lead to exchanging ideas to\ndevelop tourism, one of them by the formation of sustainable tourism roadmap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The tourism human resources training is held by partnership\nbetween the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Universitas Padjadjaran. Other\nthan Dedi, the event also invited the Dean of Unpad Faculty of Economics and\nBusiness Yudi Azis, Ph.D., lecturer from Bandung College of Tourism Dr.\nMohammad Liga Suryadana, M.Si, and Head of Ecotourism Division of the\nIndonesian Ministry of Tourism, Gunawan Wimabwa, Sh, MM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his greetings, Vice Rector of Academics and Student\nAffairs, Dr. Arry Bainus, M.A. said that the activity is considered very\nstrategic considering that the tourism sector can be the backbone of\nIndonesia\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, Arry said, the development of tourism human\nresources must be seriously handled. Indonesia has very good tourism\ndestinations, it must be balanced with competent human resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s of no use if we have great tourism destination but it\nis not handled by competent human resources, we won\u2019t have a decent [tourism\nsector],\u201d said Arry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Arry also associated it with the Pentahelix approach.\nAccording to him, tourism human resources is everywhere, including academics,\nbusiness owners, the government, the public, and the media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
