Wawat Setiawati, one of Unpad’s functional archivists who\nattended the training, provided material regarding active and inactive dynamic\narchive management which included: a new archival system pattern for recording\nincoming and outgoing letters using a control card, procedures for filling in\nthe control card, applying control cards, storage of control cards, use of\ndisposition sheets, distribution of letters, storage and filing of letters, as\nwell as simple structuring of inactive records after the retention period runs\nout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the material was delivered, the training continued\nwith a discussion about the issues of file management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe are very grateful to the Universitas Padjadjaran\nArchives for providing information on archives. Hopefully with this training, our\nvillage officials can improve their insights on archives so that we can manage our\narchives well,\u201d said the Roni, the Village Head of Jatimukti, in a release\nreceived by the Unpad Public Communication Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
