Prof. Arief said that Unpad aims to produce\ngraduates who are able to create jobs. Hopefully, the event can add insight and\nmotivation for students to become entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow can we take risks, do something creative, [and] add value to what we have, so that later we can\nbring the greatest benefit to the community, for us, and our families?\u201d said Prof. Arief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, CEO of Bank Mandiri Region VI\/Java I, Harry Gale,\nsaid that Mandiri Education was held in order to improve the financial literacy\nof the Indonesian people to support the Financial Services Authority program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This activity is routinely carried out by Bank Mandiri for the public, including universities.\nPreviously, similar events had been held at various universities in Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis time, for Mandiri Education, Bank Mandiri wants to\nprovide a positive activity for Mandiri friends in universities, especially Universitas\nPadjadjaran,” said Harry Gale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Harry said, the material on entrepreneurship was presented\nto inspire students to develop entrepreneurial spirit. On this occasion also presents the first-place\nwinner of the 2018 Mandiri Young\nEntrepreneur – Digital Technology Category (Student), Aditya PratamaGhifary,\nwho was also an Unpad student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second material on the security of digital transactions\nwas presented to increase students\u2019 knowledge of electronic banking services\nand increase public awareness about security in electronic banking transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn Bank Mandiri, conventional transactions \u2013 meaning\ncustomers who come to the branch \u2013 now only make up 30 percent of customers, so\n70 percent of customers conduct transactions through digital banking.\nTherefore, we need to continuously educate our customers and the general public\nwho really need knowledge of the security of digital banking transactions,\u201d he\nsaid.*<\/p>\n\n\n\n
