In the industrial era 4.0, the\ndevelopment of information and communication technology also needs to be in\nline with intellectual property protection. Prof. Ramli said that if the\ncreation is not protected, it will disrupt the creative process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“For example, when a creativity has\nbeen built, but the commercialization is not optimal because of those who use\nit are hijackers, causing the creators to lose their enthusiasm or spirit to\nmake new creations,” said Professor of Law Faculty Unpad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Besides Prof. Ramli, there was also a\nspeaker from Unpad Faculty of Law Emeritus Professor, Prof. (Em). Eddy Damian,\nS.H., Member of the Telecommunications Regulatory Committee of the Indonesian\nTelecommunications Regulatory Body (KRT BRTI), Dr. Agung Harsono, ST., DEA, and\nHead of Sub Directorate of Special Telecommunications Monitoring and Evaluation\nand Telecommunication Network Directorate of Post and Information Control, Indra\nApriadi S.IP, M.H.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was officially opened by the\nDean of Faculty of Law Unpad Prof. Dr. An An Chandrawulan, SH, LLM. Prof. An An\nsaid that the challenge ahead is on how to produce graduates who are able to\ncompete in various capacities. This is done along with the increasing\ncompetition of educational institutions and the paradigm shift in the sciences\nrelated to telecommunications, intellectual property, and the digital economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
