At the opportunity, Prof. Rina said that she was appointed\nby the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education as the Unpad\nActing Chancellor to guarantee a smooth operation of the higher education Tridharma <\/em>in Unpad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIn the higher education statute it is stated that the\norganization of educational activity, especially the higher education Tridharma<\/em> must have a leader in each\nuniversity. As Prof. Tri Hanggono Achmad\u2019s tenure ended, the Minister ordered,\nand tasked me not to lead, but to guarantee that activities in Universitas\nPadjadjaran goes well.\u201d Prof. Rina remarked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Prof. Rina hopes, Unpad\u2019s achievement and reputation, which\nhas been noted nationally, can be maintained. She also hopes that the whole\nUnpad family can stay solid in elevating the reputation and performance of\nUnpad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Prof. Rina also appreciates various achievements Unpad has\nachieved under the 11th<\/sup> rector of Unpad, Prof. Tri Hanggono Achmad.\nIt can be an example for everyone in Unpad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThank you for all the achievements and legacy left to us,\u201d\nsaid Prof. Rina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n About the learning quality and student affairs in Unpad, Prof.\nRina hopes that it will keep improving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cNo matter how [the students] are, they will be our human\nresource in the future. We have to prepare them better than other\nuniversities,\u201d spoke Prof. Rina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile, Unpad rector for the 2015-2019 period Prof. Tri\nHanggono Achmad said that many obstacles has been faced with exceptional\nresults because of togetherness. Prof. Tri also hope that the synergy can be\nbuilt upon so [Unpad] can keep contributing to society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI\u2019m sure that with togetherness and this potential,\nwhatever obstacle is in the future we can face well,\u201d said Prof. Tri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Prof. Tri also left a message to keep holding on to the\nacademic values written in the Unpad Principal Scientific Pattern \u201cProminent\nLaw and Environment in National Development\u201d. With the power of academics,\nUnpad can give a positive contribution to society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Like Prof. Rina, the vice president of Unpad\u2019s Board of\nTrustees (MWA) Prof. Dr. Ida Nurlinda, M.H., said, MWA also appreciates the\nexceptional achievements done by Prof. Tri and his staff. Hard work is needed\nto maintain and increase what has been achieved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe, from the MWA, are very thankful, and hopefully we can\nmaintain those achievements, at least we can keep them and of course we hope we\ncan improve them,\u201d spoke Prof. ida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A Profile of Prof. Rina Indiastuti<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Prof. Rina Indiastuti was born in Kediri, January 10th<\/sup>\n1961. Prof. Rina is a professor from Unpad\u2019s Faculty of Economics and Business.\nShe finished her bachelor\u2019s degree majoring in Development Economics in Unpad\nin 1984 and took her master\u2019s in Industry Management in Bandung Institute of\nTechnology, graduating in 1989.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She also finished her doctorate studies in the University of\nOsaka Prefecture in 1999. Other than that, Prof. Rina earned a non-formal\neducation at the Balance Scorecard for Public Sector Using 3rd<\/sup>\nGeneration, IBN International in Association with 2GC Active Management, in\n2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Her last structural position in Unpad was the Vice Rector in\nPlanning, Information System, and Finance from 2012 to 2015. She also held the\nposition of Chancellor in General Administration and Finance (2009-2012),\nAcademic Secretary of Unpad\u2019s Business Management Doctorate Program\n(2007-2009), Head of Unpad Development Economics major (2003-2007), and\nPresident of LP3E FE Unpad (2002-2003).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Currently, Prof. Rina is the Secretary of the Directorate\nGeneral of Learning and Student Affairs of the Ministry of Research, Technology\nand Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Professionally, Prof. Rina has written many papers which\nhave been published in national and international journals.
