Unpad Rector Prof. Tri Hanggono Achmad said that as a whole,\nthe first day of UTBK has gone well. Unpad has made sure every server where\nUTBK is held is ready, both in state universities as well as other partners\nthat held the exam from Friday (12\/4).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis morning, the agenda is systematically started; from\nhow every exam center and their server opened the seal to the problem set, one\nhour before the exam is held. From eastern Indonesia, to the middle, and the\nwest,\u201d said the Rector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The rector explained, every activity on the UTBK server in\nIndonesia has been monitored through the Command Center in the Unpad Rectorate\nBuilding. Other than that, a call center is prepared in case of problem\noccurring during the exam in every region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This morning, continued the Rector, some obstacles are found\nin administering the exam. From the invigilators who aren\u2019t familiar with\ngiving digital instructions, locations with problematic clients, to lateness\nfrom the server in downloading the application\/problem. But, these problems\nwere solved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEvery test center that has a problem can directly call our\ncall center. There, experts can solve their problems,\u201d said the rector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first wave of UTBK is held from April 13th<\/sup> to\nMay 4th<\/sup> 2019 every Saturday and Sunday. Meanwhile, the second wave\nof UTBK is held from May 11th<\/sup> to 26th<\/sup> May 2019 every\nSaturday and Sunday. In one day, the exam is divided into two sessions. The\nmorning session starts at 07.30, while the afternoon session starts at 12.30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Rector reminds every UTBK examinees to come prepared and\nbring the files required, like diploma for participants who graduated last year\nand a letter from the school that the test-taker is a 12th<\/sup> grader as\nwell as the exam participant card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOverall, we are committed to help every problem the\nparticipant face,\u201d said the rector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The UTBK results can be accessed by participants 10 days\nafter the exam at the latest. These results can be considered to choose a\nfitting major when signing up for SBMPTN as well as the independent route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Earning Appreciation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The first day of UTBK earned an appreciation from the\nIndonesian Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Prof. Mohamad\nNasir. Prof. Nasir has monitored the test through video conference with the\nUnpad command center and with various universities in Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cHe (Menristekdikti) really appreciated [the effort] and\nsaid thank you for the breakthrough done by the ministry to hold UTBK at the\nsame time,\u201d said the rector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Appreciation also came from the Head of the College Entrance\nTest Institute (LTMPT) Prof. Ravik Karsidi through video conference. \u201cProf.\nRavik also told [us] to keep out stamina, maintenance the system, as well as\nsome obstacles so it wouldn\u2019t be a problem at the next session,\u201d explained the\nrector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The first day of UTBK in Unpad was directly reviewed by\nseveral members of LTMPT.
