Head of TS-CDC Unpad Dr. Rosaria Mita Amalia, M.Hum., said,\nmore than 5,000 participants have signed up to join the job fair. This event\ntries to enrich the participants\u2019 career competence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis is Unpad\u2019s yearly agenda meant to bridge the alumni\nwith business and industry,\u201d spoke Rosaria at the opening of the job fair,\nWednesday (10\/4).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Other than a job exhibition joined by 30 companies, there\nare also some activities meant to enrich the participants\u2019 career competence,\nlike an introduction to the working culture in several state-owned enterprises,\ncareer development workshops, as well as talk shows on tips and tricks to apply\nfor a job from several companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not only that, visitors could find various information\naround the graduate program in Unpad and scholarship opportunities from\nuniversities abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rosaria said, companies taking part in this event weren\u2019t\njust from conventional companies. Some startups were also doing open hiring at\nthis job fair. \u201c[We hope that] through this exhibition they can get the best\ntalent,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unpad rector Prof. Tri Hanggono Achmad in his opening speech said that this event is Unpad\u2019s effort in order to increase the career competence of its graduates which is very crucial. This is because in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, improving the competence of human resources is compulsory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
