This rank measures the success of universities around the world in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe assessment of THE University Rankings 2019 is based on\nthe 17 points in the SDGs, each based on data, link data, link evidence, as\nwell as the depth of the program,\u201d said the Head of International Office Unpad\ndr. Ronny, M.Kes., AIFO, PHD, when met at his office, Thursday (4\/4).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The data and evidence lead to points and assessment parameters.\nThese two aspects are the basis of THE in determining rankings of universities\nbased on their SDGs implementation. This year, 76 universities around the world\nare assessed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the assessment, Unpad leads in several points, Good\nHealth and Wellbeing (the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> SDGs) ranked 101-200, Decent Work and\nEconomic Growth (the 8<sup>th<\/sup> SDGs) with point 24.6-53.8 ranked 101-200,\nand Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (the 9<sup>th<\/sup> SDGs) with point\n30.3-50.6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Followed by Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (the 16<sup>th<\/sup>\nSDGs) with point 40.8-61.3, ranked 101-200, as well as Partnership for the\nGoals (the 17<sup>th<\/sup> SDGs) with point 1.4-35.8 ranked 301+. Overall,\nUnpad ranked 301+ globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ronny explained, the data given in this ranking is from\nintense coordination with Unpad\u2019s SDGs center, as the center of Unpad\u2019s efforts\ntoward SDGs. All data collected was obtained from Unpad and the SDGs Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFrom the data we submitted, we got a pretty good feedback,\u201d\nsaid Ronny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This ranking is the first done by THE. This is the only\nranking that assesses a university\u2019s effort to achieve the SDGs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This result can be a reflection, a stepping-stone, for Unpad\u2019s\nto move forward. Ronny said, it\u2019s predicted that there are still more datum\nwhich have not been perfectly discovered yet. The system of the data collection\nmust further be improved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c(We hope), the branding and socialization of the SDGs program can be wider, so the accessibility about SDGs can be comprehensive.
