\u201cThis celebration is a manifestation of our concern as Unpad\nacademics towards the right to clean water for all without exception, so that\nabsolutely no one is left behind. Currently, only a few people pay attention to\nthe commemoration of World Water Day. Therefore, I hope that this activity can\ncontinue to be carried out and become a routine agenda every year,\u201d said Erskiditha\nPutri Hanura, Project Officer of World Water Day 2019 and Unpad Public\nRelations student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 2019 World Water Day series began with the online Water\nPhoto Contest which was held through Instagram from 7 to 20 March 2019. Acting\nas a jury, Ronal Agusta, a photographer for the BGTL magazine of the Geological\nAgency Center for Groundwater and Environmental Geology. Ronal, who is also an\nalumnus of the Unpad Faculty of Communication Sciences, currently serves as a\nstaff member of social communication at the Universitas Padjadjaran Geoparks\nand Geohazards Research Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The highlight of the 2019 World Water Day commemoration was\nheld at Bale Rumawat, Unpad Campus, Jalan Dipati Ukur No. 35 Bandung, Friday\n(3\/22). The event included the launch of two books, namely the book\n“Rinjani” by Dr. Ir. Heriyadi Rachmat, MM., and the book “Air”\nby Dr. Ute Lies Siti Khadijah, S.Sos., M.Sc. The symbolic submission of the\nbook was carried out to the Head of Sustainable Tourism Magister Program\nPostgraduate School, Dr. Evi Novianti, S.Sos., M.Sc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The activity continued with a speech themed “Leaving No\nOne Behind” led by moderator Gheya Madinatu Sjaida, S.Si. During the first\nsession, speaker Dr. Mohamad Sapari Dwi Hadian, M.T., an Unpad Faculty of\nGeological Engineering (FTG), addressed water and tourism. Speaker Dr. Ir.\nHeryadi Rachmat, MM., Chair of the Indonesian Geotourism Society, discussed\nmaterial on Indonesian Geotourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second session was filled by Ronal Agusta with\nPhotography material: Source of Inspiration for Caring for Water, Dr. Evi\nNovianti, S.Sos., M.Sc., with Tourism and Sustainable Water Usage materials, as\nwell as Unpad FTG lecturer Dr. Cipta Edyana, who is active in the Unpad Citarum\nResearch Center, about the Clean Citarum<\/em>\ninitiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cA photo can have 2 or 3 effects at once.
