The symbolic capitulation of the vehicle\nwas marked by the signing of the Cooperation Addendum by the Vice Chancellor\nfor Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Unpad Academic Corporation,\nDr. Keri Lestari, M.Sc., with the Director of PT. Gametraco Tunggal, Johan Soedibjo,\nin the Executive Lounge Unpad Jatinangor campus, Tuesday (12\/3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Keri said that Unpad’s collaboration\nwith PT. Gametraco Tunggal is considered to provide mutual benefits for the two\nparties. As a provider of telecommunications tower, PT. Gametraco has built\nthree Base Transceiver Station (BTS) towers on Unpad campus in Jatinangor since\n2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Cooperation in the form of\nstrengthening interconnectivity is an important collaboration to improve the\nperformance of education and research,” said Dr. Keri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He hoped that this strategic cooperation\ncould be developed in other sectors. “We are looking forward (for other\ntypes of cooperation), including in the form of educational scholarships,”\nadded Dr. Keri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, Johan said that it was the second\ntime the company gave a minibus unit. In March 2016, PT. Gametraco Tunggal has\nprovided one campus transportation unit to Unpad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He explained, giving minibuses is a compensation\nfor the use of campus land for the construction of the tower. For this reason,\nhe also appreciated Unpad’s willingness to provide land for BTS towers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We thank Unpad for giving us the\nopportunity to run our business for 3 years,” Johan said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was attended by Director of\nUnpad Academic and Library Resources, Dr. Teuku Yan Waliana Muda Iskandarsyah,\na number of Research Managers, Community Service, Innovation, and Cooperation\nin the faculty environment, as well as representatives from PT. Gametraco\nTunggal. *<\/p>\n\n\n\n
