[unpad.ac.id, 17/7/2020] The Rector of Universitas Padjadjaran, Prof. Rina Indiastuti, inaugurated the Unpad Counseling Center in an online ceremony on Friday (17/7). The center is a way for Unpad to provide counseling services for students, lecturers, and educational staff who need psychological treatment.
One of the hopes for the Counseling Center is for it to be a place that provides services to students to help them deal with academic and non-academic issues, as well as be a conversation partner for students. A number of common problems are handled through consulting services, including career counseling, learning difficulties, social interaction problems and work problems.
The Rector also encouraged student advisors to continue to monitor the condition of their students, their academic progress, and various problems that may be faced by the students. Through the inauguration event, the Rector encouraged advisors to form a counseling team at the faculty level, which will collaborate with the counseling team at the Unpad Counseling Center.
The Unpad Counseling Center is located on the Jatinangor campus, close to the Central Library Building. Offline counseling services are offered every Monday-Thursday from 9:00-15:30 Western Indonesia Time.
