Emile Boutmy Scholarship for Master’s Degree at Sciences Po in France

The Emile Boutmy Scholarship is a scholarship offered by Science Po University in France. The scholarship welcomes the best international students from outside the European Union. The Emile Boutmy Scholarship is awarded to top students whose profiles match the admissions priorities of Sciences Po and the individual course requirements.
Science Po offers 27 two-years master’s degree programs such as:

●       Master in public affairs

●       Master in international economic policy

●       Master in economic law

●       Master in regional urban strategy

●       Master in communications, media, and creative industry

●       Master in journalism

and other programs

The Emile Boutmy Scholarship is awarded to students arriving at Sciences Po for their first year of study.

 

The Emile Boutmy program can take two different forms:

●       A grant of €10,000 per year to cover tuition fees for the two years of Master’s degree

●       A tuition grant of €5,000 per year for the two years Master’s degree.

If you do not validate your academic year, your scholarship will be lost.

If you have been granted a scholarship and you decide to defer your admission, your scholarship will be lost

 

Students who are not eligible are:

●       Candidates who have dual citizenship, including an EU citizenship

●       Ph.D. program students (thesis)

●       Candidates for the 1 year Master’s programmes

●       Bachelor dual degree candidates (unless as part of a specific agreement)

 

Candidates who are currently in deferral can apply to the Emile Boutmy scholarship if they are in one of the following situations:

●       They did not apply for this scholarship in their application form

●       They had applied and obtained this scholarship last year but lost it due to the deferral

Candidates who received a conditional offer of admission are also eligible.

 

In order to apply to the Emile Boutmy Scholarship, please send an email to the Admissions Department by a form provided by the department before the deadline using the subject “Candidates with a conditional offer of admission and candidates currently in deferral” and include the following information:

●       Indicate the country in which you are resident for tax purposes 1

●       Indicate the country in which you are resident for tax purposes 2 (optional)

●       Total annual income (in euros) from two years before

●       Number of dependent children in the household (including yourself)

●       If any of your siblings are currently pursuing higher education

Please also attach to your email the following documents:

●       Your CV,

●       The language test(s) for applicants with a conditional offer of admission.
