Unpad ASEAN Scholarship – Visiting Grant

Overview
The Unpad ASEAN Scholarship (UAS) Visiting Grant is an initiative of Universitas Padjadjaran designed to support ASEAN students and researchers who wish to participate in short-term academic, research, or exchange activities at Unpad. The program offers the opportunity to join collaborative research projects, undertake coursework, or gain practical experience through internships for one semester.
Through this initiative, Unpad aims to strengthen academic ties and people-to-people connections within the ASEAN region, fostering mutual understanding, collaboration, and shared learning among Southeast Asian scholars.

Grant Coverage
* Tuition fee waiver for one semester (for students from Unpad’s partner institutions)
* Accommodation allowance during the study or research period
* Return economy class airfare reimbursement (for up to 20 selected recipients)
* Access to Unpad’s academic and research facilities

Eligibility
* Citizen of an ASEAN member country, including Timor-Leste (excluding Indonesia)
* Currently enrolled in or affiliated with a recognized higher education institution or research body
* For undergraduate applicants: completed a minimum of 3 semesters at their home institution
* For graduate applicants: completed at least 1 semester at their home institution
* Demonstrated academic excellence with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3.0/4.0
* Clear study, research, or internship plan aligned with Unpad’s expertise areas
* Proficiency in English or Bahasa Indonesia, depending on program choice
* Willingness to adhere to Unpad’s code of conduct for international students
