IO Events
The Office of International Affairs at Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) is dedicated to fostering a global community and providing support for international students. Throughout the year, we organize a variety of events designed to celebrate cultural diversity, facilitate academic exchange, and help students adjust to life in Indonesia. Below is a list of our annual events and their descriptions.
International Student Activities
International Student Orientation (ISO)
The International Student Orientation is designed to help new international students adjust to life in Indonesia and at UNPAD. This event provides essential information about academic life, campus facilities, and Indonesian culture, ensuring a smooth transition for incoming students.
Stride n’ Snack (2024)
A fun set of outdoor activities that includes picnic, fun trip, and games with international students to increase our multicultural knowledge and build a good relationship among Unpad international students
Fun’hunt(astic) Walk (2024)
An outdoor event designed to combine a clue-hunting adventure with solving fun riddles. This event aims to increase multicultural knowledge and build stronger relationships among Unpad students. By working together in teams, students can enjoy a collaborative and engaging experience.
Discover U : Wellbeing Seminar (2025)
This seminar is a collaboration with Students Services Office with the theme “How to Become a Wellbeing Sojourner” to support the well-being of international students at Universitas Padjadjaran
International fairs
International Day : EXPADTRIATS
International Day is an annual event hosted by Unpad International Office. Holding the theme EXPADTRAITS “Expanding Unpad through International Arts”, this cultural events offers students an opportunity to celebrate the global diversity from culinary to cultural performances.
AHEC (ASEAN Higher Education Conference) 2023
Universitas Padjadjaran hosted the international conference “ASEAN Higher Education Conference” (AHEC) 2023 at Gedung Merdeka and Graha Sanusi Hardjadinata, Bandung, from 24 to 26 August 2023. AHEC serves as a platform for collaboration among ASEAN universities and acts as a catalyst for regional advancement.
#AussieBanget University Roadshow (2025)
An exclusive event featuring a panel discussion on sustainable finance in Indonesia and insightful information sessions on Australia Awards, Study in Australia, and KONEKSI. The event also features Australia Awards Scholarship booth, Australian photobooth, and refreshment booth for participants.

Leeds Beckett University Global Award with Noble Solutions (2024)
Leeds Beckett university Global Award with Noble Solutions is a scholarship program from a partnership between Noble Solutions and Leeds Beckett University. This scholarship is for Indonesian students who want to pursue a Master’s degree in Management and Leadership at Leeds Beckett University
IGIP (International Global Internship Program) 2024
The Indonesian Global Internship Program is the government of Indonesia scholarship scheme to fund Indonesian students for internships at top companies and organizations overseas.
IISMA Safari (2024)
The Unpad International Office supports Unpad students through a three-part IISMA Safari series, which includes the IISMA Faculty Roadshow, IISMA Student Incubation, and IISMA Homecoming, to comprehensively prepare them for the IISMA program.
Info Session : LPDP France Scholarship (2025)
This LPDP session provides details about various scholarship programs, eligibility requirements, application procedures, and deadlines for international students. With Mr. Antoine Bricout as the speaker, participants can learn about funding options for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral studies in France.

Global Korea University Scholarship (2024)
Korea University, founded in 1905, is widely acknowledged as one of the country’s oldest, largest and the most prestigious universities in Korea. Its reputation for quality is based on excellence in teaching, research and service to Korean society. As a major comprehensive university, KU offers a rich variety of courses in liberal arts and sciences as well as in all professional fields, including law, medicine and business administration.
LPDP Scholarship : Irish Universities Consortium (2025)
Hosted by Irish Universities Consortium, a collaborative initiative between four leading Irish universities : University College Cork, University of Galway, Trinity College Dublin, and University College Dublin. These universities are included in the 2025 LPDP scholarship list, offering excellent opportunities for Indonesian students to pursue postgraduate studies in Ireland.
Tailored Short Course
OIP NGEE ANN POLYTECHNIC SINGAPORE
The Overseas Immersion Program (OIP) is a collaboration between Universitas Padjadjaran and Ngee Ann Polytechnic Singapore (NP), designed exclusively for NP students. NP students can learn about the Indonesian higher education system and Sundanese culture. Held twice a year (February and September), this program includes hands-on activities, cultural workshops, and campus tours.
Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (2024)
A visit from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia from 4 to 10 May 2024 includes campus tours, lectures, cultural activities, and sightseeing trips.
University Visit
Universiti Putra Malaysia (2023)
A university visit by Universiti Putra Malaysia to Universitas Padjadjaran took place on 19 August 2023. The program featured a sharing session, a campus tour, traditional Indonesian games, and a variety of other engaging activities.
Universitas Teknologi MARA (2023)
A university visit by Universitas Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia to Universitas Padjadjaran took place on 14 November 2023. The program featured a cultural performance, sharing session, a campus tour, and other engaging activities.
