[unpad.ac.id, 12/8/2020] Universitas Padjadjaran collaborated with the Bandung Land Agency (BPN). The cooperation was realized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Unpad and the Bandung Land Agency in the Unpad Executive Lounge, Jalan Dipati Ukur No. 35, Bandung, Wednesday (12/8).
The signing was carried out by Unpad Rector Prof. Rina Indiastuti and Head of the Bandung BPN Agency, Andi Kadandio Alepuddin. During the meeting, the Rector explained that there were several plans for their cooperation. The first plan was related to the legalization of several land assets managed by Unpad.
The Rector said that the services at BPN Bandung were being digitized. Digital land status information will secure Unpad assets from claims made by third parties. The various land statuses mandated by the government to Unpad digitally will be visible to anyone. In addition to cooperating with status management, Unpad planned to make the Bandung BPN agency as a place for student internships as a form of implementation of the Kampus Merdeka program.
Another cooperation plan is related to collaborative research or consultation on land issues. The rector said that several fields of knowledge in Unpad are related to land. Therefore, BPN Kota Bandung is considered to be the right location to increase research activities in the land sector.
