Tenri University Exchange Program 2021

Brief Description

Located in Nara prefecture, since its founding in 1925, Tenri University has promoted foreign language learning to deepen intercultural understanding based on heart-to-heart communication, and has actively supported academic exchanges and goodwill sports matches with partners from various countries of the world. In hope of furthering these achievements, the University continues to enter exchange agreements and create new programs for study abroad.

Exchange Program Length:

• 1st rank awardee :

1 Year long (March 2021 – February 2022)

• 2nd rank awardee :

6 Months long (September 2021 – February 2022)

Exchange course (taught in full English):

“Japanese Language Course”

Facilities covered by this scholarship:

• Tuition fee 
• Dormitory fee 

Other expenses are self-funded

Requirements and Eligibilities 

• Recommendation letter from your faculty’s dean
• GPA equal to or above 2.75
• Have completed at least 2 semesters
• Curriculum Vitae (in English)
• Academic transcript
• Motivation letter (1 page in English)
• Recent colored passport photo (Pas Foto)
• Have never received any student exchange scholarships from any university
