[unpad.ac.id, 9/5/2019] As many as 1,517 prospective new students for the bachelor program from the National Selection for State Universities (SNMPTN) route did administrative registration at Grha Sanusi Harjadinata Unpad, Dipati Ukur street No. 35, Bandung, Thursday (9/5). From the number, 259 students are Bidikmisi grantees.

Met between his activities, Director of Education and Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Wawan Hermawan, M.S. said that there is no significant difference between this year’s administrative registration and the previous year.
“There is no significant difference on this [year‘s registration] with the previous year’s. Only the layout [is different],” spoke Prof. Wawan.
The administrative registration will hopefully be in order and not take too long. The service itself is held from 8 AM to 3 PM WIB (UTC+7).
“The place we have prepared is enough so the queue will not take too long. A person will take at most 10 minutes from the 20 tables we have prepared,” said Prof. Wawan.
Told by Prof. Wawan, from 259 Bidikmisi grantees, 47 participants must redo their verification. This is done to make sure that the program hits its target.
“We have to recheck 47 people to make sure that [the program is] right on target,” he said.
In the administrative registration, participants verified their data, had their pictures taken, until they get their student ID that can also be used as e-money. Other than that, the committee also prepared a helpdesk for participants with technical difficulties.
“Administrative registration is done to make sure that the documents they’ve uploaded are correct. If it’s already correct, they administratively get a student number and is officially an Unpad student,” spoke the Secretary of the Director of Education and Student Affairs Aji Sasongko, S.Pd., M.Si.
Aji also asked the new students to actively check Unpad’s official website for further information regarding important announcements.
“They also have to be active and check Unpad’s website, just in case there’s an important information that they must know,” said Aji.
