Brief Description
| MEXT is a Japanese Government-funded scholarship that focuses on students (in undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree) who wish to continue their studies in Japan. MEXT offers the scholarship to public universities across Japan. The embassy offers the scholarship to students in two categories, embassy and university recommendation.
Embassy Recommendation is a way for students to apply through a selection process that is held by the Japanese Embassy in their respective countries. University Recommendation is for students who want to apply straight to their preferred university and follow the chosen university’s selection process. |
||
| By choosing the embassy way, you can apply through the local embassy by giving the essential documents and wait for the test. However, due to COVID-19, the embassy canceled the test in exchange for an interview process.
You can also apply through the university recommendation by checking out the university’s website and contact a professor that teaches there to gain more knowledge. Not only that, you can provide them more points about how serious you are to learn in that university. |
||
| To apply through university recommendation, you must contact the international affairs office of the university that you have chosen. You can also contact your home university–in this case, Unpad–to check which institutes have ongoing collaborative programs with your home university.
You can also check it on your own by clicking on the link down below Facility provided by the Scholarship
