Give it up for: Cireundeu
If traditional villages nowadays have adopted some modern adjustments, the people of Cirendeu Village keep their culture authentic. They brought a whole different approach to traditional culture to the Unpad Summer Program.
Besides the traditional dance and food, the Cirendeu way of life is also interesting and eco-friendly. For example, no plastic bottles allowed! Participants were excited to learn how to make cuisine from cassava and how to make handicrafts.
The day reminded us of beautiful childhood memories as we played traditional games such as ‘Ular Naga’, ‘Galasin’, and ‘Tarik Tambang’, where some of the games had similarities to traditional games from several participants’ countries. We had a great bonding time.
