“For Unpad, this is actually a manifestation of the commitment that universities have in the current era, because they must increase their engagement in order to contribute to solving the challenges that are in front of us,” said the Rector.

The Rector said that the population aspect is one of the strategic factors faced today. Strengthening human resources is important in improving welfare. In this regard, higher education becomes the front line.

“It’s not enough for higher education to simply grow. Higher education should be able to contribute to the community. That needs to be encouraged, and it only possible if we push it together,” said the Rector.

The Pentahelix approach also became a tool for Unpad as a contributive effort in community development. This synergy is expected to strengthen Unpad’s contribution in improving welfare.

“Hopefully this can be an acceleration step that we put forward in order to have a stronger impact,” the Rector hoped.

On this occasion, Director of the BKKBN Population Education Cooperation, Ahmad Taufik, S. Kom, MAP, said, to support the BKKBN program, especially in improving the quality of human resources, cooperation with universities is needed.

The cooperation with Unpad is expected to be carried out in conjunction with student activities, lectures, research, and libraries.

“I hope that this collaboration is not only ceremonial, merely for meeting the administrative targets, but a significant point of the implementation of the cooperation in the field,” hoped Ahmad.

The signing ceremony was also attended by the Vice Rector for Research, Community Service, Cooperation and Academic Corporation, Dr. Keri Lestari, S.Si., M.Si., Apt. *
