[unpad.ac.id, 25/9/2019] The Government of Maybrat Regency in West Papua has established collaboration with Universitas Padjadjaran. The collaboration is carried out in the framework of developing the quality of human resources at Maybrat.
The collaboration was realized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by Maybrat Regent Bernard Sagrim and Acting Unpad Rector Prof. Dr. Rina Indiastuti, M.SIE., In the Executive Lounge Unpad, Jalan Dipati Ukur No. 35, Bandung, Wednesday (9/25).
Bernard explained the development of the quality of Human Resources (HR) became one of the vision and mission of his leadership. Mainly preparing for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) experts in their fields.
Responding to the collaboration plan, Prof. Rina said, Unpad is ready to help to improve the quality of human resources at Maybrat. “We are ready to help, whether, through education or training, we are ready to fulfill it,” said Prof. Rina.
Related to further study opportunities, Prof. Rina encouraged education collaboration to cover all fields of science at Unpad. Not only related to public administration, but Unpad also opened the opportunity for Maybrat Regency Government to get a variety of education and training in other fields of science.
“When other fields are needed, let’s say a training to prevent stunting or makes a financial information system, go ahead. Later, FISIP can involve lecturers or professionals in other fields, “she explained.
In addition to education, Unpad also opens a research collaboration with Maybrat Regency Government. These various studies can be one aspect to improve the quality of human resources in Maybrat.
