On this occasion, Gilarsi said that the era of disruption is a challenge that has to be faced. As technology develops, changes need to be made. This also happened to PT Pos Indonesia.

“In the context of disruption, the business model can be very different,” Gilarsi said.

At the beginning of the event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between PT Pos Indonesia and Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) regarding the Tridharma Perguruan Tingi (Three Pillars of Higher Education comprising Education, Research and Community Service). The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Director of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Gilarsi W. Setijono with the Deputy Chancellor for Research, Community Service, Cooperation and Academic Corporations, Dr. Keri Lestari, S.Si., M.Sc., Apt.

This public lecture was also officially opened by the Vice Chancellor for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and UNPAD Academic Corporations Dr. Keri Lestari, M.Sc. He said, the public lecture of the BUMN Director was an implementation of transformative learning that UNPAD had rolled out. Students are expected to be able to reap the leadership arts of the BUMN Director in managing their company.

“The theoretic learning process is no longer practical in Unpad. You should be exposed in real time to the direct actors and the challenges that exist after you are graduated from university.” said Dr. Keri. *
