[unpad.ac.id, 4/4/2019] Student of the Medical Faculty (FK) of Universitas Padjadjaran, Annisa Dewi Nugrahani, was chosen as the champion of the Outstanding Student Selection (Pilmapres) of Universitas Padjadjaran in 2019.Thence, Annisa is ready to compete in the Pilmapres on the national level.
Chairman of the Unpad Pilmapres Jury Team 2019, Dr. Yus Nugraha said that the selection was conducted in two stages. The first stage selection was conducted on March 13-14 and was attended by 18 students consisting of 16 Bachelor students and 2 Diploma students from all faculties.
From the first selection, three of the best students were selected to take part in the phase II selection as well as in the preparation step which was held at the Unpad Training Center at the end of March.
“You have actually been the best at the Unpad level, (the case is that) we have to choose,” said Dr. Yus at the announcement of the 2019 Unpad Pilmapres in the Joint Meeting Room, Jatinangor campus Unpad Rector Building, Thursday (4/4).
To advance to the national level, Annisa will again get further consolidation from the Unpad jury team. According to Yus, further preparation will aim at aspects of essential skills.
“Next, the jury team are still preparing to provide additional preparation, not only soft skills but also various aspects of the essential skills,” said Dr. Yus.
Meanwhile, Director of Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Wawan Hermawan, M.Sc. expects the support of all parties so that Unpad representative can triumph the national level. Support is expected to bring Unpad’s spirit together.
“Hopefully this year, Unpad will achieve better,” hoped Prof. Man.
In addition to the announcement of the winners, the event was also filled with the submission of certificates to participants at the Unpad level Pilmapres. They are students who have been selected at faculty level screening. The certificate handover was done by a number of university and faculty leaders of Unpad.
The assessment component of the Pilmapres this time is based on scientific papers, superior achievements or superior abilities, foreign languages, and the Grade Point Average. For scientific work, Annisa took the title “Development of the Tuberculosis Diagnostic Method through mHealth Integrated Emal Nanoparticle-based Colorimetric Sensor Feature.”
“My hope is for me and my colleagues at Unpad to represent the name of Padjadjaran much better and to get Unpad the triumph from the nation or around the globe,” hoped Annisa.
Becoming the second winner of this year’s Unpad Pilmapres was Mohamad Desgia Adinadya Putra from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, and the third winner was Sarah Aurelia Saragih from the Faculty of Psychology. *
