As-Sunnah PAUD Bandung Students Learn about Pharmacists in Pharmacy Unpad

Pusat Unggulan Iptek Perguruan Tinggi (PUI-PT) Pharmaceutical Services Innovation of Universitas Padjadjaran held an edutourism activity entitled “Little Pharmacist” at the Unpad Pharmacy Education – Kimia Farma in Jalan Ir. H. Djuanda No. 248, Bandung, Monday (12/11).

A number of PAUD As-Sunnah pupils are given informations about the pharmacist profession and medicine in an edutourism activity entitled “Little Pharmacists” held by Center for Science and Technology Excellence of Higher Institution or Pusat Unggulan Iptek Perguruan Tinggi (PUI-PT) Pharmaceutical Services Innovation of Universitas Padjadjaran at the Unpad Pharmacy Education – Kimia Farma, Jalan Ir. H. Djuanda No. 248, Bandung, Monday (12/11).

The “Little Pharmacist” activity aimed to provide education about the pharmacist profession and medicines that were delivered through interesting activities for children. This activity was attended by a number of parents and pupils from PAUD As-Sunnah.


“This visit to the Unpad Education Pharmacy is not the first time. Both pupils and parents have benefited from informations regarding the correct use of drugs. They visited the education pharmacy in the context of introducing the profession, and this time introduced the pharmacist profession to children,” said the Principal of PAUD As-Sunnah Ela Nurlaela, M.Pd.I., in a release received by the Office of Public Communication Unpad.
In the event, the children were given introduction about pharmacists, simulating proper hand washing, and were being invited to see the process of making syrup, powder, and capsules in groups.


In addition, parents of children are given counseling about the correct use of drugs (5O), about what kinds of drugs are these, what are the benefits, how much is the dosage, how are they used, what are the side effects. Parents were also given information about the Healthy Living Community Movement or Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat (Germas), as well as drug selection training. *
